T Road Pub ends run in Crestone

Posted

CRESTONE — T Road Pub, a mainstay of nighttime entertainment, pizza and beer in Crestone has ceased operations.

After a three-year run the building has sold and the T Road has closed.

The pub had a great interior and a spectacular outdoor patio which hosted many musical performances. Summertime music on the patio was usually packed featuring visiting and local musicians

The T Road hosted New Year’s Eve gatherings and in January 2024, Marie Mccolm wrote about it in the Monte Vista Journal “Arielle Blackwell of Cosmic Pop-up events spoke about the celebration and how everything went.

"It was a great turn out and we had a lot of people attend the celebration. There were strobe lights, streamers, a disco ball, there was tons of 80's music playing, including, Wham, Prince, Madonna, Michael Jackson, just about every 80's song you could think of. People were dancing and laughing, everyone had a great time," Blackwell said.

This review on Yelp.com summed up the vibe that many Crestonians felt,

“Such a cool little gem in the heart of downtown Crestone. They brew a few kegs a month of their own beer with mostly local ingredients and then it changes to mainly other taps from different breweries in Colorado. There's so much small-town charm and great hospitality! I met the owner and his wife. They're great down to earth people with a wealth of knowledge about beer and Colorado trails. They usually have live music, and the locals can really dance! I love how dog friendly they are. It made traveling with my dog so much easier.”
