Dwight's early years in Colorado laid a strong foundation for a life full of curiosity and adventure. His passion for learning was evident in his academic achievements, particularly in his favorite subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Math. This intellectual fervor led him to the esteemed engineering program at the University of California, Irvine, where he excelled and prepared for a career that aligned perfectly with his love for building and creating.
Professionally, Dwight was known for his work in construction. His hands were skilled, and his mind was a wellspring of innovative solutions. Colleagues and friends often remarked on his ability to see a project not just for what it was but for what it could become. Dwight took great pride in his work, but he was never one to boast. Instead, he let his accomplishments speak for themselves and found joy in the act of creation.
Outside of work, Dwight was a dedicated sports fan, following the Southern California teams with zeal. The Rams, Lakers, and Dodgers could always count on his support, and his knowledge of the games and players was encyclopedic. Dwight is survived by his devoted parents, Michael and Marianne Montano; his loving siblings, Sally-Gaye Hogan, Michael Morris (Abby), and Ryan Heinrich (Anna); his cherished nieces, Rebekah (Tyler) Anderson, Kasey D'Anna (Michael Flores), and Christina (Brock) Dustin; and his dear nephew, Brian Montano (Sophia).
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane Shelton; his brothers, Michael Jay Montano and Darren Montano; and his grandparents, Joe Montano (Gabriella) and Ephriam Medina (Salome). His kind, thoughtful nature will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
