FORT GARLAND/SAN LUIS — Halloween-related events will be held in Blanca, Fort Garland, and San Luis, beginning on Oct. 27.
The Fort Garland Museum is having Fright Night at the Fort from 5 to 11 p.m. on Oct. 27.
The Blanca-Fort Garland Community Center is hosting its third annual Trunk or Treat from 3 to 6 p.m. on Oct. 29.
Antonio Silva is once again partnering with Amy Raney of Spin Drift Sandboards for the Trunk or Treat. Silva said, "We wanted to make it not spooky for the kids."
This year's theme is Superheroes. There will not be a maze, but there will be "a haunted ice cream truck." Hot cocoa, games, popcorn, and apple cider will be available. The best trunk will receive a gift basket.
Raney adds, "There will be two bouncy houses, more food vendors, and be better than last year."
Centennial School in San Luis is having a Trunk or Treat on Oct. 31. Call Michelle Preble at 719-432-7376 or Honey Quintana at 719-588-1036, for more information.
