CONEJOS COUNTY — Growth in the county will be a topic of the Conejos County Planning Commission at Oct. 21 and by the Board of Conejos County Commissioners (BOCC) at 10:15 a.m. Nov. 5 to consider a variety retail store and small sawmill proposed by Paul and Susan Hertzler at 7285 County Road DD.

Then, at 6:45 p.m. Oct. 21, the planners will hear Bucky Claunch, Jr. and his plans for a sawmill and dry kiln business on 160 rural acres, then the BOCC will consider Claunch’s proposal at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 5.
